Privacy policy
This policy describes how Creative Cover s.r.o. handles personal information in connection with elementnetwork.online. It is written to match what this site actually does, which is very little, and it is intended to be read under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
1. Who is responsible for your information
The entity responsible for personal information described in this policy is:
Creative Cover s.r.o.
Střížkovská 630/114, Střížkov, 180 00 Praha 8, Czech Republic
Company number: 10991140
VAT: CZ10991140
Email: info@elementnetwork.online
Creative Cover s.r.o. publishes this site and makes the decisions about what is collected through it. Every reference below to what “this publisher” does is a reference to that company.
2. What is collected
Through the site itself, nothing. There is no contact form, no newsletter, no registration, no comment facility, no quiz and no chat widget anywhere on elementnetwork.online. No cookies are set, and no analytics, advertising or tracking script of any kind is loaded. The cookie policy sets that out in more detail.
Two categories of personal information nevertheless exist, and it would be dishonest to leave them out.
- Server logs. The hosting provider that serves these pages records ordinary technical information about each request: the IP address the request came from, the user agent string the browser sends, the URL requested, the response status and the date and time. This happens at the web server level for every site on the internet that is served by a web server; it is not a tracking system and it is not linked to any identity by this publisher.
- Email. If you write to info@elementnetwork.online, this publisher receives your email address, whatever you put in the message, and the technical headers your mail service attaches. You choose what to include; nothing more than the message itself is needed.
No sensitive information as defined by the Privacy Act is sought at any point. Please do not send identity documents, payment details or account credentials — none of them are needed, and any that arrive will be deleted.
3. Why each category is held, and on what basis
Server logs exist to keep the site available and secure: diagnosing faults, understanding a sudden failure, and identifying abusive traffic such as automated attacks. This publisher relies on its legitimate interest in operating a secure and functioning website. There is no consent basis and no consent request, because there is nothing here that would require one.
Email is held for the single purpose of reading and answering your message, and where the message concerns a correction, for keeping a record of why an entry was changed. The basis is the legitimate interest in responding to correspondence, and in the case of a privacy request, compliance with the obligations described in section 7.
Neither category is used for marketing, profiling or any automated decision-making. There is no mailing list, and no address that arrives by email is added to one.
4. How long each category is kept
- Server logs: retained by the hosting provider for no more than 30 days, then deleted or overwritten in the ordinary course of log rotation.
- General correspondence: deleted no later than 12 months after the matter it concerns is closed.
- Correspondence about a correction to an entry: kept for up to 24 months, as the record of why the site was changed.
- Privacy requests and complaints: kept for 24 months after the request is resolved, so this publisher can show how it was handled.
Nothing is retained indefinitely, and there is no archive of readers, because no readers are identified in the first place.
5. Who else receives it, including outside Australia
Two recipients, and no others. The hosting provider operates the servers that deliver these pages and therefore processes server log data on this publisher’s behalf. The email provider transmits and stores messages sent to the address above. Both act under contract and neither is permitted to use the data for its own purposes.
No personal information is sold, rented, shared with advertisers or disclosed to the advertising programme described in the affiliate disclosure. Following a paid link on this site sends you to a third party’s website, and what that operator collects is governed by its own privacy policy, not by this one; this publisher does not receive information about you from it.
This site loads no external fonts, scripts, images or stylesheets. Everything it serves comes from this domain, so no third-party host receives your IP address as a consequence of a page loading.
Cross-border disclosure (Australian Privacy Principle 8). Creative Cover s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, and its hosting and email providers operate infrastructure in the European Union. Personal information described in this policy is therefore held and processed outside Australia, which is an overseas disclosure for the purposes of APP 8. Reading a page on this site, or sending an email to the address above, involves that overseas disclosure. Recipients in the European Union are subject to the General Data Protection Regulation.
6. How it is protected
The site is served over HTTPS, so the connection between your browser and the server is encrypted. Access to server logs and to the email account is limited to the people at Creative Cover s.r.o. who need it to run the site, and is protected by unique credentials and multi-factor authentication. Because the site holds no database, no user accounts and no payment data, the amount of information that could be exposed by any failure is small by design — which is the most effective security measure available and the reason it was chosen.
7. Your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles
You may ask what personal information about you is held, ask for a copy of it, and ask for it to be corrected if it is wrong. You may ask for it to be deleted, and unless there is a reason to keep it, it will be. Requests go to info@elementnetwork.online, and are acknowledged within 5 working days and answered within 30 days. There is no charge.
Identification may be needed before information is released, but only to the extent required to be sure the request comes from the person it concerns. In practice, for a request about an email exchange, replying from the address that sent it is enough.
If you are not satisfied with how a request or a complaint has been handled, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, which is the Australian privacy regulator and accepts privacy complaints. Raising the matter with this publisher first is usually faster, but you are not obliged to.
8. Notifiable data breaches
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm to an individual whose information is held, this publisher will assess it promptly and, where the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act applies, notify the affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as that scheme requires.
9. Children
This site is not directed at people under 16, collects nothing from anyone regardless of age, and has no facility through which a child could submit information. The material about household controls in the classification entry is written for parents and carers rather than for children.
10. Information for readers in the EU and the UK
Because Creative Cover s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, the General Data Protection Regulation applies to its processing, and the UK GDPR applies to readers in the United Kingdom on equivalent terms. The legal basis relied on for both categories described above is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f): keeping the website secure and functioning, and responding to correspondence. Consent is not relied on, and no consent banner appears, because the site sets no cookies and performs no tracking that would require consent.
Readers covered by those regimes have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests. Requests go to the email address above and are handled within one month. A complaint may also be lodged with a supervisory authority — for this publisher, the Office for Personal Data Protection in the Czech Republic, or the authority in the country where you live.
11. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new effective date, and the change is summarised in a line at the top of the page for at least 30 days. Should this site ever introduce something that collects personal information — a form, an analytics tool, a cookie — this policy and the cookie policy will be updated, and any required consent mechanism put in place, before that change goes live rather than after.
